At the 67th World Accordion Trophy, held from 23rd to 29th October 2017, student of the second year of accordion at the Music Academy of the University of East Sarajevo, Aleksa Mirković, achieved great success in the category of composers. He won the first place with his composition “White Book”.
The category was anonymously rated by a jury of 35 members, eminent accordion professors from various countries of the world.
This year’s 67th World Trophy was held in Rodez, Onet le Château in France.
Representatives from 35 countries and more than 200 competitors participated in this competition. This is the largest attendance of the most prestigious competition for the academic accordion.
