Delegation of the University of East Sarajevo, headed by the Rector Prof. Dr. Stevo Pasalic, paid a working visit to the partner university “Valahia” University in Targoviste, Romania on April 23, 2018.
The meetings were dedicated to further possibilities for enhancing cooperation between two institutions within the Erasmus + program involving the exchange of teachers and students, cooperation in the field of scientific research with special emphasis on joint activities in the preparation of project proposals and organization of conferences, as well as experience exchange in the segment of doctoral studies.
The exchange of teaching staff was agreed, so ten professors from our University would stay at the University “Valahia” in the upcoming period, while the University of East Sarajevo would also host a reciprocal number of teachers from Romania. The exchange of students would be the next step in the cooperation of two universities.
During the stay in Romania, representatives of our University visited the research center of the University “Valahia” equipped with the latest equipment in which over 30 million of Euros were invested.
