INSTRUCTIONS FOR INDICATING THE AFFILIATION OF THE ACADEMIC STAFF OF THE UNIVERSITY OF EASTERN SARAJEVO
This instruction regulates in more detail the manner of listing the institution in which the author is employed (hereinafter affiliation) for the purpose of more precise evaluation of the work of academic staff and researchers and evaluation of the work of the University of East Sarajevo. Evaluating the work of the University of East Sarajevo is important for: positioning on various world ranking lists of universities, accreditation and evaluation, as well as for participation in competitions for projects.
Properly stated affiliation implies stating the name of the institution, the address of the institution and the e-mail address of the author.
Name of the institution
When stating the name of the institution, the name of the University of East Sarajevo is stated, followed by the name of the organizational unit. Next to the name of the institution, the name of the department is stated. If the rules or technical restrictions of the journal make it impossible to enter all parts of the affiliation, it is necessary to state the name of the University first, and then the other parts of the affiliation as much as possible.

Address of the institution
The address of the institution is written by stating the address of the faculty/academy, namely: full name of the street, exact number, postal code and name of the city/municipality. When stating the address of the institution in English, only the city/municipality is translated, and the enclitic signs are omitted from the street names.
E-mail address
When stating an e-mail, it is obligatory to state the official address. If the employee at the University of East Sarajevo does not have an open official address, she/he is obliged to open an account and use the official address for correspondence. The official address contains the full name of the employee.
