The Faculty of Production and Management of the University of East Sarajevo celebrated 29 years of existence and successful work in Trebinje.
The Rector of the University of East Sarajevo, Prof. Dr Milan Kulić, emphasized that the Faculty of Production and Management and the Academy of Fine Arts in Trebinje were of strategic importance for the University.
“By opening a new study program, we aimed to educate staff who are necessary for the labor market, but also to try to keep young people from going to universities in the area. I think we have done an important thing, this year we enrolled the first generation of 18 students. I am sure that in the coming years that number will be higher. At the last session of the Senate, we formed a working group that would deal with the campaign and promotion of student enrollment in the next academic year,” said Rector Kulić.
He stated that they were preparing especially for the coming year when the Faculty of Production and Management would celebrate its anniversary – 30 years of work.
The Dean of the Faculty of Production and Management, Prof. Dr Obrad Spaić, congratulating all employees and students of the Faculty on the holiday, emphasized that this was an opportunity to summarize the results from the previous period with a special focus on the results achieved in the past year, but also a day when they remember all those making a great contribution to the development of this higher education institution.
