At the ceremony celebrating the Day of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of East Sarajevo, 9 Masters of agriculture, 31 graduated agricultural engineers and 21 graduated forestry engineers are promoted.
The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture prof. dr Vesna Milic stresses that she is proud that the Faculty celebrates 77 years of existence and 23 years of work within the University of East Sarajevo.
Acting Rector of the University of East Sarajevo, prof. dr. Stevo Pasalic congratulates the management of the Faculty of Agriculture on the successful work and wishes students good results.
“I congratulate the promoted students because they have completed studies at the Faculty, which is very desirable for studying. Today we send another generation of high-quality professionals who will contribute to the development of Republic of Srpska with their knowledge, “says Acting rector Pašalić.
The Council of the Faculty of Agriculture awards a prestigious recognition – “Plaque of the Faculty” – for selfless dedication and assistance in establishing international cooperation to: the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Quality Assurance of the University of East Sarajevo, prof. dr. Dejan Bokonjic, a scientist at the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute in Bari Nuredin Drives, Director of International Cooperation at the State Agricultural University in Voronezh Tatiana Lisak, professor of the University of Boku from Austria Hamid El Bilali and Director for International Cooperation of the State Agricultural and Technical University of Perm, Russia Oksana Fotina.
The award “Dr Đojo Arsenović” is awarded to the best student in the generation Todor Đorem, a graduated forestry engineer.
