The Rectorate of the University of East Sarajevo has been visited by the students from prestigious Russian universities who would attend, during the student exchange, lectures at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of East Sarajevo from February 21 to March 20, 2018.
Two students from the University of Voronezh and one student from the University of Perm were hosted by the Acting Rector of the University of East Sarajevo, Prof. Dr Stevo Pasalic with associates – Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Culture, Arts and Sports Professor Sandra Ivanovic, Acting Vice-Rector for Teaching Professor Verom Cevriz-Nisic, Acting Vice-Rector for Science, Research and Development Professor Sinis Berjan, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Professor Dejana Stanic and Vice-Dean for the Teaching of the Faculty of Agriculture, Professor Mark Gutalj.
Acting Rector Prof. Dr Pasalic said that the University of East Sarajevo was visited by students from two eminent universities in Russia, noting that the University was increasing cooperation in the field of exchange of students and teachers with Russia and China, as well as with countries from the European Union. He particularly emphasized the activities of the Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Philosophy in that aspect.
The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Professor Dejana Stanic emphasized that the cooperation of the University of East Sarajevo with the universities in Voronezh and Perm became even stronger and more stable, which was very important and useful for both students who acquire knowledge and skills for practical application, and for the Faculty of Agricultural and University of East Sarajevo.
Nikita Lisunov and Dmitry Cibitarjov from the State Agricultural University in Voronezh and Nikita Zelenkov from the State Agricultural and Technical University in Perm, together with students from the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of East Sarajevo, would attend lectures on the study programme of Plant Production. In addition to attending classes and practical work, guests would be also involved in extracurricular activities including visit to the Faculty of Philosophy, Department of Russian and Serbian Languages and Literature, tourist visits to the cities of the Republic of Srpska, as well as socializing with students from the University of East Sarajevo.
