Certificates for lifelong learning program participants within the CULTURWB project have been awarded at the Rectorate of the University of East Sarajevo today.
During the courses, realized with the aim of developing the competences of people dealing with cultural tourism, very good cooperation with cultural institutions and economic organizations has been achieved. Among others, the participants of the courses were the Director of the Museum of Herzegovina in Trebinje, Ivana Grujic, the Director of the Cultural Center Pale Marko Sikima, the Director of the main Library of East Sarajevo, Natasa Trifkovic, representatives of the Tourist Organization Visegrad and Tourist Organization Cajnice, as well as graduate students of the study programme Tourism and Hotel Management.
Within the project “CULTURWB“, a joint master program “Managing Cultural Heritage and Cultural Tourism” will be launched, which will be realized by the University of East Sarajevo and the University of Banja Luka.
At the University of East Sarajevo, a Center for Continuous Learning has been set up. The University strives to adapt to the programs of major universities in the region that have already developed lifelong learning programs with the aim of strengthening competencies and meeting the needs of the labor market. In the forthcoming period, modern training programs for third parties can be expected.
