A delegation of the Association for International Understanding from Beijing visited the University of East Sarajevo, Faculty of Philosophy Pale. The representatives of this Association and University and Faculty members talked about further improvement of successful cooperation with the goal of active involvement in the initiative “Belt and Road”.
The Vice-President of the Association for International Understanding Aj Ping said that the purpose of the Association, founded in 1981, was to promote understanding between China and other the countries.
The Rector of the University of East Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Stevo Pasalic expressed satisfaction with the visit of the delegation from China and noted that the Department of Synology at the Faculty of Philosophy existed since 2011 and had a respectable number of students, a total of 110 in the first cycle, as well as six Chinese lectors and three professors.
The Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy Professor Draga Mastilovic said that the Faculty was one of the founders of the Association of Business Schools “Silk Road”, and its role in the Chinese language, culture and civilization was considerably broader, and in the coming period would include business and all other forms of cooperation.
