The “Student Science Day” was organized for the first time by the Scientific Research Section, operating within the Students’ Association of the Medical Faculty of the University of East Sarajevo, in the Students’ dormitory in Foča on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.
The event was organized with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of scientific research. Only by engaging in scientific research work, students receive new knowledge, get new ideas, and learn how to get the scientific evidence needed in everyday practice.
Ten students presented their scientific research papers that had been also presented at world congresses in the previous months. Also, a guest student from the University of Sarajevo, Haris Čampara, presented his work.
