Students of the Music Academy of the University of East Sarajevo held the Annual Concert where 15 students performed. These 15 students earned, by their efforts and dedication during school year, to present themselves to the audience.
According to the Vice-dean for the Artistic and Scientific-research Work of the Music Academy professor Biljana Staka, this concert was one of the regular activities students had in their concert practice, and was traditionally held at the end of the academic year. It presented an opportunity for students who were selected at audition to show what they had learned.
Students of violin, accordion, flute, piano and solo singing performed the compositions by Rahmaninov, Puskarenko, Mozart, Muchinski, Zebeljan and other famous composers.
The Academy representatives awarded honored individuals and representatives of the Institutions for an outstanding contribution to the affirmation of the Music Academy.
The Minister of Science and Technology of Republic of Srpska Alen Seranic, the Mayor of the City of East Sarajevo Nenad Vukovic, Rector of the Russian State University of Agriculture from Voronez Prof. Dr Nikolai Buhtjarov with associates, Vice-rector for Science, Research and Development of the University of East Sarajevo Professor Sinisa Berjan, and numerous guests, professors and students of the Music Academy were present at the concert held in the Music Academy aula on June 12, 2018.
