Info day of the Erasmus + project CULTURWB was held at the premises of the Rectorate of the University of East Sarajevo on Wednesday, July 10th, 2019. Vice-rector for International Cooperation and Quality Assurance prof. Prof. Dr Dejan Bokonjićc, Project coordinator in behalf of the University of East Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Branislav Masic and Dr. Dajana Vukojevic spoke about the significance of the project, goals and achieved results.
The Lifelong Learning Program, as a result of the CULTURWB project, was presented at the Info Day. Candidates would enroll at the program from the new academic year, through the Center for Lifelong Learning of the University. The importance of this program, as well as the importance of tourism in general, was spoken by Prof. Dr. Ljubiša Vladušić, Head of the Center for Lifelong Learning of the University.
The competition for enrollment of candidates to lifelong learning courses “Strengthening Capacities for Changes in Cultural Tourism in the Western Balkans – building competencies for quality management of cultural heritage and cultural tourism” will be announced in September 2019, and the courses will be realized from October to December.
At the event, a new study program of the second cycle of studies “Management of Cultural Heritage and Cultural Tourism” was announced. This program would be realized as partnership between the Faculty of Economics of Pale University of East Sarajevo and the Faculty of Economics at the University of Banja Luka. The Master program will start at the Faculty of Economics in Banja Luka, and the lectures will be delivered by professors from that faculty together with professors from the Faculty of Economics at Pale University in East Sarajevo.
The University of East Sarajevo is one of 13 partners involved in the implementation of the “CULTURWB” project financed through the Erasmus + program. The project holder is the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Science and Mathematics.
