The twelfth international agricultural symposium “AGROSYM” organized by the Faculty of Agriculture, University of East Sarajevo, the Faculty of Agriculture in Belgrade and the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute in Bari, in cooperation with 35 institutions from the country and the world, was held from 7 to 10 October 2021 on Jahorina.
The Rector of the University of East Sarajevo Prof. Dr. Milan Kulić during his address pointed out that the international agricultural symposium “AGROSYM”, thanks to hard and dedicated work, has grown from a relatively modest scientific gathering to one of the most respectable scientific gatherings, not only in Republic of Srpska, but also beyond.
He has emphasized that the relevant ministry, for many years, has been assessing “AGROSYM” as a scientific gathering of the first category and of special importance for Republic of Srpska, and that “AGROSYM” is of special importance for the University of East Sarajevo, having in mind the number of participants and participating countries in its organization and co-organization.
Also, Rector Kulić has thanked the organizers and co-organizers for their dedicated work in organizing the gathering, emphasizing that they together with the participants contributed to the international recognition and visibility of the Faculty of Agriculture and the University of East Sarajevo.
This year’s edition of the symposium features 688 papers from 80 countries in the field of agricultural and forestry sciences, ecology and environmental protection, food production and processing.
