The eighth manifestation “Days of Vojin Komadina 2024” and the sixth scientific conference “Contemporary and Traditional in Musical Creativity” were held at the Academy of Music of the University of East Sarajevo from December 12 to 14.
The event was traditionally held in the artistic and scientific segment, and in honor of the founder and first dean of the Academy of Music of the University of East Sarajevo, Academician Vojin Komadina.
Dean of the Academy of Music, Prof. Maja Žuža, M.Sc., emphasized that this year’s event would be held for the last time in the old building where the Academy of Music, founded by Academician Vojin Komadina, began its work.
Dean Žuža expressed her gratitude to the sponsors – the relevant Ministry, the city of East Sarajevo, the municipalities of East Novo Sarajevo and East Ilidža, the Center for Culture and Information East Ilidža, and the Association for the Cultivation of Academic Music “Novi zvuk – New Sound”.
