Implementation and coordination of international cooperation activities are responsibility of the Vice-rector for International and Inter-university Cooperation and Quality Assurance and the International and Inter-university Cooperation Office of the University.
International and Inter-university Cooperation Office, headed by the Vice-rector for International and Inter-university Cooperation and Quality Assurance, performs the activities related to:
- arranging and concluding agreements (general and specific) of scientific, teaching and technical cooperation with other higher education institutions, institutes, cultural departments of embassies and economic subjects from home and abroad,
- presentations of scholarships and study programs abroad (in cooperation with the departments of foreign embassies responsible for promoting studies in their countries) – all information about the scholarships can be found on the website of the University,
- mobility, exchange and training of students and teaching staff abroad (competitions, CEEPUS network), as well as providing the necessary information and services for the foreign students and teaching staff,
- some international projects, in cooperation with the Science, Research and Development Office.
Priorities for the future work of the Office include encouraging and enhancing the ERASMUS projects, as the key program for student exchange, work on further concretization of these cooperation agreements, putting into practice the strategic cooperation agreements, organizing summer schools and development of study programmmes in English, first at the level of PhD (third study cycle).
